Challenge
Goodman partnered with government bodies to relaunch the former Harwell Campus as a world-leading location for science, technology and business, and the government’s preferred site for scientific research. Having previously held an international reputation for atomic research, the site had been decommissioned for over a decade. The campaign needed to attract organisations and investment, to enable the developed site to be relaunched to the international science world.
Solution
Harwell’s heritage was unknown amongst the target market. Following research and engagement with stakeholders, the site was rebranded, and a comprehensive comms plan implemented. A mini exhibition and newsletters showcased the new vision to organisations already on site. A website aligned with the brand vision and incorporated an extranet for on-site users. Supporting activity included PR, an opening ceremony attended by the Minister for Science, extensive support collateral and on-site events.
Result
The site was successfully launched, with its dynamic new brand vision communicated clearly to a diverse audience.
